Postdoctoral positions in gas phase molecular spectroscopy might be available in autumn 2005 in the research group of Dr. Guy Guelachvili and Dr. Nathalie Picque at the University of Orsay, near Paris (France): there are several sources of funding in France and Europe for a postdoc fellowship. We are looking for an applicant on the following project : development and application of high sensitivity experiments, involving continuous or ultrafast lasers. Experience is required in experimental molecular spectroscopy or/and laser physics or/and femtosecond laser or/and frequency metrology.

Salary will be on nationally agreed scales. There is no condition on nationality (except french citizenship); however the candidates should have carried out their PhD work outside of France.
